Safeguarding is a foundational element of my work across education, youth services, and community engagement. I’ve adopted this inclusive and reflective approach because I believe that safety and wellbeing must be embedded in every interaction—whether supporting a young person in school, working with families in crisis, or building trust within a local community.
This framework guides me in creating spaces where people feel genuinely safe, respected, and empowered. It goes beyond simply responding to risks—it promotes proactive practices that build trust, recognise the impact of trauma, and value the diverse experiences and backgrounds of those I work with. By centring empathy, accountability, and long-term positive outcomes, I strive to make every environment not just safe—but a place where individuals can thrive.
